       Swinging Through The Weeks:
        
        The Week of February 13th:

Reading- "Bunny Day" Students will sequence the story from beginning to end.

Phonics- All about short Ee". Students will learn to identify the letter, how to make the short “Ee” sound, and identify things that begin with the letter.

Math- Students will learn about measurement with weight and capacity.

Social Studies- President’s Day Activities

Science- Sun and Moon.


        The Week of February 20th:

Reading- “My Lucky Day”. Students will discuss the cause and effect of the story.

Phonics- All about the letter ”Yy”. Students will learn to identify the letter, how to make the letter, and things that begin with the letter.

Math- Reproduce and identify 3D shapes.
(sphere, cylinder, cube, cone, etc.)

Science- Students will continue to learn about the sun and moon.

                        Spring Pictures
                 A few notes:

• Spring pictures will be taken on Wednesday, February 29th. Students will be taking individual pictures and a class pictures. These pictures will show students from head to toe.

• Students did great on Dibels testing. EVERYONE made gains since the beginning of the year!!
